Founded in 1952 on the Sydney site it still occupies today. During its 50 years of existence, Australian Bakels has purchased adjoining properties and is now the owner of a large area of land at Silverwater in the geographical centre of Sydney.

    We are the largest company in the Bakels Group and our premises are the home to two other companies, Bakels Research Australia and Bakels-Lesaffre Yeast, of which Australian Bakels is a partner.

    We also have manufacturing sites in Melbourne and Perth and sales & distribution sites in Brisbane and Adelaide. All sites have trade qualified sales representatives who are able to demonstrate products and solve any problems customers may have.
