Formaldehyde is a main raw material for disinfectant, hexamine, pentaerythritol, phen olicresin, urea-resin, synthetic resin, engineering plastic polyformaldehyde, resin dye, trihydroxyme-thyl propane and high explosive and also a raw material of preservatives, reducer, tanning agent for leather and collating agent in text oil industry.
