Product description: Sodium chlorite is alkaline with light hygroscopicity. It is easily soluble in water and alcohol. Under room temperature and normal storage condition, sodium chlorite has fine stability, which is between sodium hypochlorite and sodium chlorate. When heating up to 170℃, solid sodium chlorite and alkaline aqueous solution resolve into sodium chlorate and sodium hypochlorite. If contact with acid, it easily resolves and releases chloride dioxide gas. It easily explodes and burns when contact or clash with sawdust, organics and reducing substance.
