Product description: This product is a combination of glutamic acid and trimethoprim. The formula is C14H18N4O3 C5H9NO4. It contains C14H18N4O3 C5H9NO4, which should not be less than 98.0% in dry products. [Characters] This product is white to yellowish crystalline powder, odorless. This product is soluble in water and slightly soluble in ethanol or acetic acid. [Inspection] The acidity of the product is 0.5 g, 30 ml water added, shaking, dissolving, determined according to law (Appendix 0631), and the pH value should be 4.5-6.5. The clarity and color of the solution should be 0.5 g, 30 ml of water should be dissolved, and the solution should be clarified. [Loss of Drying] Drying at 105 C to constant weight, weight reduction can not be less than 5.0% (Appendix 0831). [Residue Ignition] Less than 0.1%. [Content Determination] The product is about 0.3g, weighed precisely, added glacial acetic acid 20mL, dissolved by warm heat, cooled, added crystal violet indicator 1 drop, titrated with perchloric acid titration solution (0.1mol/L) until the solution appears blue, and the titration results are corrected by blank test. Per ml of perchloric acid titration solution (0.1 mol/l) is equivalent to 21.9 mg of C14H18N4O3 C5H9NO4. [Category] Antibacterial synergists. [Storage] Shade and keep in sealed condition.
