【FEATURES】
YCG series of sulfonic acid hardener is matched hardener for no-bake furan resin. The appearance is light yellow to browntransparent liquid. We now produce and provide a wide range of hardeners which are suitable for different seasons, different ambient temperature , different humidity of atmosphere , can cater to varying demands for setting time.
It has low viscosity and is easy for sand mixing. It will not crystallize at -20℃ above. Superior sand mould (core) strength can be achieved when YCG series of sulfonic acid hardener is used to harden the furan resin sand.

【APPLICATION GUIDE】
The model of hardener should be chosen according to the ambient temperature, the temperature of sand and the required curing speed. The higher the total acid content, the faster curing speed.
The addition ratio of hardener is normally 30%-70% of resin weight.
Normal curing speed is 10-90 minutes according to casting size, 15-40 minutes are usual stripping time. To increase curingspeed, to enhance addition rate of resin (not exceeding 70% based on resin ) or change faster hardener. To decrease curingspeed, to reduce addition rate (not under 30% based on resin) or change slower hardener.
Mix sand with hardener, then add resin and mix evenly. Use the mixed sand immediately after mixing them evenly.
【SAFETY PRECAUTIONS】
1. Sulfonic acid hardener will react violently when mixed with furan resin in absence of an adequate amount of sand. Hardener and furan resin should be stored separately. Never mix hardener and furan resin directly.
2. Sulfonic acid hardener is an acid solution. Operators are required to wear acid proof protectors, especially eyes protections. In case of contact, flush eyes or skin with lots of water and get medical aid immediately.
3. Skin contact with sulfonic acid hardener may cause slightly irritation. Operators should put on personal protection protectors.

Packed in 25 kg, 230 kg, 240 kg plastic drum or in 1000 kg IBC plastic tank or as per customers’ request.
