Ningbo Jinhai Chenguang Chemical Corporation is the petrochemical manufacturing business established in 2008 by the Ningbo Jinhai Investment and Holding Company, Ltd. Jinhai Chenguang facilities are located in the Ningbo Petrochemical Economic and Technological Development Zone in Zhejiang Province. The current total registered capital is RMB 350 million with more than 350 people employed at this site.

There are currently four operating facilities at the site:

1.Crude C5 separation and purification plant with capacity of 150,000 mt/year of feedstock

2.Isoamylene purification with capacity of 10,000 mt/year

3.C5 Hydrocarbon Resins plant with capacity of 20,000 mt/year total resins

4.Poly-isoprene rubber plant with capacity of 30,000 mt/year synthetic rubber

Primary C5 crude feedstocks are supplied by pipeline from the nearby Sinopec Zhenhai Refinery and its world class 1 million mt/year Ethylene Cracker. This consistent supply and quality has allowed the Jinhai Chenguang facilities operate with highest international quality standards and among the most advanced performance efficiencies and yields in China.

Jinhai Chenguang products are offered to both China domestic and global export markets throughout Europe, Asia and the Americas. The products include isoprene (polymer/chemical grade), Piperylene (meta-pentadiene) DCPD (dicyclopentadiene), Isoamylene, C5 hydrocarbon resin, IR (Isoprene rubber) , LCBR(Low cis butadiene rubber)etc which are used in the production of synthetic rubber, elastomers, HMA(Hot melt adhesives), road marking, tire and the intermediates for of agrochemical, pharmaceutical and polymer additives.

Jinhai Chenguang continues to develop new projects and has proven to be a leading supplier of synthetic rubber, polymers, monomer, and hydrocarbon resins adhesives and specialty markets.

Jinhai Chenguang has been recognized as the high technology and innovation enterprise of the state authorities, and honored by local authorities for its contribution at economics, safety and environmental, and is designated as a "Green Enterprise" in the Ningbo Petrochemical Economic and Technological Development Zone.
