Quantity: 10000Metric Tons Polyaldehyde Resin A81 The aldehyde resin is slight in color and soluble in almost all solvents and compatible with practically all coating raw materials, it can improve the gloss, hardness, adhesion, heat and yellowing resistance of many coating systems. Its main applications are combination with other resins and the production of all-purpose pigment pastes. Chemistry: Condensation product of urea and aliphatic aldehydes Excellent solubility and compatibility enable Polyaldehyde Resin A81 to be used in many types of coating formulation. They can be used to improve gloss, hardness, body, adhesion and yellowing resistance, depending on the coating’s intended application. A very pale color and good pigment wetting are two properties that make it particularly suitable for producing all-purpose pigment preparations, also the grinding time can be much reduced. The low viscosity of its solutions enables high-pigment-content pastes to be produced. Since it has good heat resistance, it is also used for baking finishes, particularly because it does not cause any odor or discoloration of the resin. |
