Dicapryl phthalate (DCP) is a light yellow oil and transparent liquid with invisible impurity. DCP is mainly used as the plasticizer for PVC, nitrocellulose resin etc. Its durability to heat, light and weather is better than DOP but its plasticizing rate, oil resistance and extractability-proof is not as good as DOP. Especially it has good viscosity stability when acted as a plasticiter.
