Dioctyl adipate is a typical,cold-resistant plasticizer for pllyvinyl chloride,chloroethylenecopolymer.polystyrene,nitrocellulose,ethyl cellulose and synthetic rubber.Its plasticizing rate is high and its colore changes little at high temperature .The products with it have good softness at low temperature and lightproof.When proccessed,it shows its good lubricity.The soft feeling of products is better.Its application is often in combination with main plasticizers such as DOP DBP etc for making cold-resistant agricultural.plastic thin film.packing membrane for freezing food,cable,coating,leatherette,sheet materials, and water pipes in the open air etc.The plastipaste with it has low viscosity at the beginning and a good stability of viscosity.
