Product description:
Abacavir sulfate is the antiviral drug abacavir sulfate with the same pharmacological effects as abacavir. It was successfully developed by Glaxo-Wellcome (Glaxo-Wellcome) in the United Kingdom. In December 1998, the US Food and Drug Administration The FDA approved it for sale under the trade name Ziagen. This product is a nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor (NRTI), which works by inhibiting HIV reverse transcriptase, causing chain scission and preventing virus replication. Studies have shown that this product is effective in combination with other nucleoside reverse transcription Chemicalbook enzyme inhibitors such as didanosine, zalcitabine, lamivudine and stavudine. It has an additive effect. It has a synergistic effect when combined with zidovudine. This provides a new method of triple therapy for the treatment of HIV infection, and also allows protease inhibitors and non-nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitors to remain selective in clinical medication.
