Natural wood creosote oil is a colorless or light yellow clarified oily liquid; according to the different production environment and quality standards, there are two types of creosote -- medical grade and industrial use. Industrial creosote has a permeable fume and odor, a burning smell and corrosiveness. Wood creosote for medical use is relatively mild, but the production process and quality standards are higher.

The Quality Meets The Pharmacopoeia Of Japan 14 Edition (JP14) And British Pharmaceutical Codex 1959 (BPC 1959).The Manufacturing Process Of The Products Is Almost The Same And The Main Difference Is The Distillation Range. But We Can Do Different Levels Of Quality Standards(The Specific Content) In Accordance With Customer Requirements.
Natural Creosote is a mixture of guaiacol, creosol and other phenolic compounds obtained from wood tar. Creosote is a clear, slightly yellowish, highly refractive, oily fluid. The product has penetrating, smokey odour and a burning taste. It is neutral or slightly acidic in reaction. The solubility in water at 20°C is less than 0.1 weight-%. The product may turn darker during storage, without affecting the active substances.
