Molecular Structure:
Product description:
SYNTHETIC CRYOLITE
Properties:
It is crystalline white powder. Slightly soluble in water, density 2.95-3, melting point 1000 ℃ , easily absorbing water and become damp, decomposed by strong acids like sulfuric acid and hydrochloride, then producing hydrofluoric acid and relevant aluminum salt and sodium salt.
Uses:
It’s mainly used as a flux in the aluminum smelting by fused-salt electrolysis; an opacifier andauxiliary solvent of glassand enamel; an insecticide of crops; a flux in aluminum alloy casting; and in the production of ferrous alloy and effervescingsteel; as well as a wear-resistant filler for resin and rubber-boned abrasive wheels.
Package:
25kg plastic woven bag or upon on customer request.
