MBP is a highly efficient Free Radical Type II solid photoinitiator which is used to initiate the UV polymerization of chemically unsaturated prepolymers (e.g. acrylates) in combination with tertiary amine synergists. IHT-PI MBP also can be used as the intermediate to synthesize organic pigments, pharmaceuticals and pesticides.
