Main Applications Leptomycin A is an antifungal antibiotic that acts as an inhibitor of nuclear export by interacting with CRM1/exportin-1. Inhibits nucleo-cytoplasmic translocation of molecules such as the HIV-1 Rev protein and Rev-dependent export of mRNA.
