Product description: Product details: XPS boards containing flame retardant additive FARIDA TBC can prevent accidental fires caused by small fires, which means a cigarette or sparks by cutting plastics can not cause accidental fire. But because of the flammable property of XPS itself, in continuous combustion, the function of flame retardant is limited.
The main function of flame retardant FARIDA TBC for EPS is to change its burning process. The principle is like this: in combustion conditions, flame retardants generate strong dehydrating substance which makes plastics become carbonated and do not generate flammable volatile easily, to stop the spread of flames; after decomposition, the flame retardant generate non-flammable gas, which dilutes and blocks air to reduce and control the combustion, and makes the retardant EPS have the self-extinguish performance. |
