  Product Name: Coating Additive Defoamer Item No.: SilibaseCP-1019 Overview of characteristics: Organically modified polysiloxane is used as a concentrated defoamer in water-borne systems. It is mainly used in waterborne coatings of polyurethane dispersion and polyurethane/acrylic acid mixtures. The defoamer is especially effective in the production and application of waterborne coatings. It does not affect color acceptance and gloss. Because of its high activity, SilibaseCP-1019 must be added under high shear stress to avoid shrinkage. The defoamer proved to have excellent long-term storage stability. SilibaseCP-1019 is also suitable for defoaming of concentrated water-based pigments slurry.
