Product Name: Silicone Glue for Mica Tape Item No.: SilibaseSR-6022 Product Manual of SilibaseSR-6022 Silicone Glue for Mica Tape: SilibaseSR-6022 Silicone Glue for Mica Tape is a dispersion of polydimethylsiloxane and resin in toluene. It is a highly viscous liquid with good adhesion. Low smoke, non-toxic, good stability, high temperature resistance, no carbon deposition, excellent weather resistance, moisture resistance and electrical insulation. Main Specifications: ● Used in the manufacture of fire-resistant mica tape and high temperature pressure sensitive tape. ● Used for masking and sheet metal tape. ● Used alone, as a variety of bonding, fixing or supporting adhesives. Basic Data of SilibaseSR-6022 Silicone Glue for Mica Tape: ● Appearance: Colorless or light-yellow translucent liquid, no mechanical impurities ● Thinner: Toluene ● Viscosity: (25Cmm 2.S ~ 1) ≥20000 ● Solid content: (150℃*2h, %): 60±2 ● Density (25): 0.98-1.02. Instructions: ● It is a fast-drying adhesive with short curing time and strong viscosity. After curing, the mica tape is dry, soft and does not stick. ● The SilibaseSR-6022 Silicone Adhesive can be directly applied to the substrate by a conventional tape coating apparatus and can be further diluted with a solvent such as toluene or xylene before coating. The working fluid concentration is preferably 15-20%. Ventilation must be ensured when using solvents, and please observe the solvent supplier's safety precautions and related regulations. ● The curing agent may be a peroxide such as BPO or DPP, and BPO is recommended, and the amount is 1.0-3.0% of the amount of 100%. The use of a curing agent can speed up the curing or allow curing at low temperatures and can also increase the cohesive strength of the adhesive and improve its adhesion to the substrate. ● When using BPO, it should be dissolved in toluene and formulated into a 10% solution to achieve optimal mixing with the binder. The peroxyl dispersion after mixing can only be used for one to two days because the peroxide quickly loses its activity in the solvent. Adequate dispersion of the adhesive and peroxide during the mixing process is necessary to ensure consistency in the finished product. ● Surface curing period: 60~90℃*1min solvent removal to ensure no solvent exists in the adhesive when entering the curing zone; 140~170℃*2min, adhesion, cohesive strength and initial heat by heat curing The adhesion is further strengthened. ● If the equipment and substrate allow for higher curing temperatures, the cure time can be shortened. Increasing the curing temperature allows the cohesive strength of the adhesive to be achieved in a shorter time than low temperature curing. Packaging, Storage and Handling: Put it into a clean and dry 200kg large iron drum and seal it. During storage and transportation, it must be placed in a cool, ventilated and dry environment to prevent rain and sunlight. Avoid contact with acids, alkalis or basic compounds and heavy metals. The storage period is 6 months. Overdue can be re-examined according to the standard. Qualified persons can still use and store and transport according to flammable products.
