In fact, the half rate of mancozeb plus SilbiaseAG-2843 Wet Spray Adjuvant was as effective as the full rate of mancozeb alone. At the high rate of mancozeb SilbiaseAG-2843 Wet Spray Adjuvant did not improve the already high performance of the fungicide but there were numerically fewer spots. Since mancozeb is a protectant fungicide, it is probable that the SilbiaseAG-2843 Wet Spray Adjuvant works by improving coverage of the grass leaves. This indicates that SilbiaseAG-2843 Wet Spray Adjuvant should be effective with other protectant fungicides where spray coverage is of paramount importance. Conclusions: The adjuvant SilbiaseAG-2843 Wet Spray Adjuvant can improve the performance of mancozeb, and by extrapolation, it should be effective with other protectant fungicides.
