  • Product description :
MPD is used as a key component in the manufacture of engineering polymers, aramid fibers, epoxy resins, wire enamel coatings and polyurea elastomers. MPD is also used for removing aldehyde impurities in chemical processing, as an accelerator for adhesive resins, and as a component in dyes for leather and textiles. Properties which make MPD so versatile are its fire resistance, excellent chemical and temperature stability and fast cure. MPD is offered in flake and cast solid forms. Upon request, it can also be supplied molten in bulk. MPD flakes are beige to off-white in color. The cast form is a tan crystalline solid, and molten MPD is a clear liquid. All forms tend to darken in storage. MPD is soluble in water, alcohol, and most organic solvents.
