  Introduction
  White objects can slightly absorb blue light of the visible lights. So objects appear yellowish. This problem also exist in white plastic or white printing ink coating. One of the effective method to solve this problem is to add fluorescent whitener. Fluorescent whitener can absorb ultraviolet radiation with the wave length of 300 to 400nm. It can radiate 00-500nm violet or blue fluorescence by the energy exchange. This makes up the blue light absorbed by the objects. At present, there are dozens of fluorescent whitening agents. Here we simply introduce some of them(see next form)
