  1. Introduction

   

        Calcium Bromide is white grain or cake crystal; it is free of smell and tastes salty and slightly bitter. Proportion 3.203 and melting point of 730^oC and boiling point of 806-812^oC. It can dissolve in water and ethanol or acetone, hardly dissolves in ether or chloroform. It will turn yellow if placed in the air for a long time. It is very quick hygroscopic, its aqueous solution is neutral.
