牋牋Jacques Paltz was born in Paris on August 14th 1947. A chemist by training, he left pharmaceutical research in 1976, in order to pursue his work in the areas of naturopathy (natural medicine) and aromatherapy: this is when he started to learn about essential oils and the aromatic plants from which they are extracted.

牋牋Jacques Paltz very quickly understood that life forces were contained in essential oils. He was able to appreciate the potential they represented for human health, by exploring the fine structure of aromatic molecules and the regenerative nature of these precious substances. Essential oils contain the concentrated and wonderfully healing energy which has been used to enhance beauty and health throughout the world, for thousands of years.

牋牋Jacques Paltz also became aware of the inertia which had taken hold of aromatherapy for some time. Using proven research methods and his knowledge of pharmaceutical experimentation, he was able to develop original natural products of the highest quality. The formulas he developed for skin and health care are based on phyto-aromatic substances of the best essential oils, concentrated hydroaromas, wildflowers, ecologically grown plant extracts and pure vegetable oils.
