Polyquaternium PQ is formulated for the control of bacteria,algae and fungi in recirculating industrial water cooling systems,evaporative condensers,swimming pools and air wash systems. Polyquaternium PQ does exhibit a degree of efficacy against bacteria and fungi. Polyquaternium PQ is extremely effective against planktonic and sessile algae. Polyquaternium PQ provides water clarification and bio dispersion synergism with halogens and reduces the demand by eliminating algae which can consume halogen. Polyquaternium PQ is safe at use concentrations due to the very low oral and dermal toxicity.
