  Specifications
  Liquified chlorine gas is the best solution for water purification and
  sterilization, also in the metallurgical industry.
  Application
  Used for bleaching in textile and paper industries; for production of
  titanium, magnesium, etc, in the metallurgical industry; for
  production of chlorine pesticides, detergents, plastics, rubber, drugs
  and so on. Also used for water purification and sterilization.
  Character
  Yellow-green transparent liquid. Freezing point: -100.98°C. Boiling
  point: -34.6°C. Gasified at atmospheric pressure. Asphyxiating
  chlorine smell. Strong irritation and corrosion. Not spontaneous but
  supporting combustion; combustion and explosion occur when it is mixed
  with other flammable gases in the sunlight. Tending to react with most
  of the elements or compounds. Highly toxic. A strong oxidant.
  Production methods
  High pressure process: Chlorine pressure 1.4 ~ 1.6MPa (gauge
  pressure), liquefaction temperature 30°C ~ 50°C. Moderate pressure
  process: Chlorine pressure 0.2 ~ 0.4MPa (gauge pressure). Low pressure
  process: Chlorine pressure 0.15MPa or so (gauge pressure),
  liquefaction temperature -30°C or so.
