  This is an independent Cultural Immersion Program, aimed to cultivate “Chinese Scholars” from international students who have basic command of Chinese language.
  
  Other than further Chinese language learning, the course work includes classes including Calligraphy, Chinese Painting, Martial Arts, Chinese Movie, Chinese Tea Culture and Cuisine, Chinese economy and China Travel.
  
  Students will also go on short tours to museums, art galleries, villages, factories and join local tour guides in their work with tourists from outside the city.
  
  Students can learn the basics of Chinese painting and learn to play a traditional Chinese music instrument, or sing a few Chinese songs in Chinese language and they are expected to show off their “China Scholar” talents in city and provincial TV programs.
  
  Prerequisite for this course is basic command of Chinese language
