It has tendency to turn pale yellow on prolonged storage. Specification: Item Index Purity (by GC): 99.5% min Butylamine: 0.1% max Tributylamine: 0.1% max n-Butanol: 0.1% max Water content: 0.1% max Usage: Dibutylamine are used for the production of agricultural chemicals (e.g. carbosulfan) and for the production of rubber chemicals (e.g. di-n-butylthiocarbamate thiuram). Other applications are the production of dibutylethanolamine, a chemical used in coatings and paints; tetrabutylurea, a solvent used in some hydrogen peroxide processes, and the production of catalysts and corrosion inhibitors. Dibutylamine is also used to produce dibutyl thiocarbamates which are employed as accelerators in the rubber chemical industries. Dibutylamine is a key intermediate in the synthesis of the carbosulfan insecticide. Dibutylamine is also used as a corrosion inhibitor, and as an intermediate/catalyst in pharmaceutical, plastics, resins and insecticides markets. Package and Storage: Metal pail, net wt 150kg.
