Molecular Formula: C4H11N Molecular Weight: 73.13 Structural Formula: Properties: Diethylamine is an alkaline, colorless, volatile liquid with a strong ammoniacal odor. It is miscible in water and many organic solvents. Diethylamine reacts strongly alkaline, and is incompatible with strong oxidisers and flammable. B.P. 56.3 deg C, vapour pressure 0.261 hPa at 20 deg C. It has also applications in the production of rubber chemicals (e.g. tetraethyl thiuram disulphide), or in the production of hydroxylamine and various other chemicals and active pharma ingredients. Package and Storage: Closed steel drum, net wt 140Kg. DEA has a shelf life of 24 months in unopened, original container.
