Poly Seal is a hydrophilic polymer that will expand 200/300 times its volume in fresh water (50 /70
times in salt water). This property makes it an excellent medium for plugging fractures, cavernous formations and unconsolidated or highly permeable formations encountered in drilling operations. SPECIFICATION: ITEMS INDEX APPEARANCE FREE FLOWING GRANULAR EXPANDING COEFFIECIENT IN FRESH WATER 260 TIMES BY VOLUME EXPANDING COEFFIECIENT IN SALTY WATER 60 TIMES BY VOLUME USAGE & DOSAGE Its good compatibity with other drilling chemicals and its expandability will be shown when used. STORAGE The product should be kept in shady, dry and ventilated warehouse with environment temperature controlled within 122F and relative humidity 50%. It should be prevented from sun and rain, and positioned in some place away from heat and fire; the recommendation for bag piles is no more than 8 layers. The expiration period is 12 months. It should not be utilized unless examined and qualified if out of expiration. SAFETY Avoid contacting with eyes, skin and clothing. Otherwise, wash with a flush of water. Refer to Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) for complete handling and hazard data. |
