The product has three shapes ofα,βandγand the melting point is (α) 53.4℃, (β)43℃and (γ) 27℃. It is a highly toxic chemical product and can cause allergic.Use:The product is an important intermediate to make sulfur dye such as SulfurBlue and Sulfur Green,is used to make (2-4) dinitrophenylthiocynate and chloropicrin etc and to make explosive such as picric acid in military industry and is an important organic chemical intermediate.
