The protective film has better corrosion inhibition effect on copper. It is widely used as metal deactivator in automobile engine oil, gear oil and metal cutting fluid, extreme pressure antiwear agent in lubricating oil, and can significantly inhibit the corrosion of copper. The corrosiveness of sulphide produced in lubricating oil during use is an excellent antioxidant.
