Chemical formula C3H5NO. The IUPAC name of acrylamide is 2-propenamide. This white odorless crystalline solid is highly soluble in water, ethanol, ether and chloroform. We offer Acrylamide as Ø Powder Acrylamide in 25 kgs bag packing(Japan) Ø Liquid Acrylamide in 200 kgs Drums.(SNF, France) Some of the applications of Acrylamide are as follows: Ø Water treatment- This chemical is used as a floccuant to suspended organic matter in treatment of sewage, waste and drinking water. Ø Paper mills – Used for sizing of paper, paper coating, paperboard, paper and board manufacture for packaging materials. Ø Polyacrylamide- Used in irrigation water to improve soil texture. Polyacrylamide is known as a soil-conditioning agent and is used as a medium for hydroponic growth of vegetables like tomatoes Ø Others- Used in ore processing, oil recovery, and crude oil production processes |
