White, oderless crystals or crystalline powder having a slightly acid taste. It is slightly soluble in water but insoluble in alcohol and in ether.
Aspartic acid, a new generation of calcium treasures, is a calcium amino acid chelate, with the chemical structure of stable, water-soluble, and the absorptin rate. It is a high of calcium nutrition enhancer of a new generation of products in today’s society. Aspartic acid is, together with glutamic acid, classified as an acidic amino acid with a pKa of 4.0.
