Introduction: Bentonite is an important inorganic mineral in the earth.The main component of bentonite is montmorillonite.It is widely used in industrial fields,e.g. for oil drilling fluids,construction,coating,agriculture&fertilizer,metallurgy,waterproofing. 1. Bentonite for drilling fluids Our sodium/calcium bentonite for drilling conforms to national standards People's Republic of China: GB / T5005-2010.It has a good suspension, thixotropic, low fluid loss and good mud performance.The preparation is convenient and it is easy to adjust the proportion of drilling fluid. It is the essential ideal base material of deep drilling and ocean drilling. 2.Salt resistance bentonite Salt resistance bentonite is free from environmental and geographical restrictions, you can place water, are not subject to the constraints of weather conditions, you can always use it. It has a quick dissolution speed, high hydration capacity and mud rate, good stability, high capacity of solid wall, low drill swing resistance, high drilling rate, low amount of fluid loss. Especially when encountered in the sediment layer and the salt layer in the construction ,its strong inhibition can prevent collapse with strong inhibition and also prevent to expand of the holes, reduce to meet resistance in the drilling process, be not to the end or sticking, etc. 3.
