Applications |
1. Sodium hydroxide can be used as an alkaline desiccant.
2. Chemical manufacturing, paper making, aluminum refining, tungsten refining, rayon, cotton and soap manufacturing, as well as in the production of dyes, plastics, chemicals and organic intermediates, old rubber regeneration will also use sodium hydroxide.
3. In the electrolysis of metal sodium and water and the production of inorganic salts, a large amount of sodium hydroxide is required to produce borax, chromium, manganate, phosphate, etc.
