Coumarone resin is a viscous liquid or solids, the relative density of 1.05 to 1.15; 1.05 to 1.07 relative density of liquid. A softening point of 75 ~ 135 ℃. Glass transition temperature of 56 ℃. A refractive index of 1.60 to 1.65. An iodine value of generally 23 ~ 39 g12 / 100g. It looks like rosin, dissolved in chlorinated hydrocarbons, esters, ketones, ethers, hydrocarbons, most oleoresins, nitrobenzene, aniline and other organic solvents, insoluble in water and lower alcohols. Acid, water resistance. Electrical insulation, resistance to aging, good heat resistance. Neutral reaction. Thermoplastic, corrosion resistance. Poor lightfastness. Combustible. Non-toxic.
