Heating Cupric nitrate decomposition at 170 °C insoluble basic salt Cu (NO3) 2.2 Cu (OH)2, the heating is continued into the Copper (II) oxide. Soluble in water and ethanol, the acidic aqueous solution, easy to absorb. Cupric nitrate is a strong oxidant, with carbon powder, sulfur, or other combustible material with heat, friction or shock, can cause a fire and explosion.
Use: Cupric nitrate used as a catalyst, oxidizer, activating agent and photosensitive resistance phosphor materials. |
