Cas No. :56-89-3
Molecular Formula: C6H12N2O4S2
Molecular Weight: 240.3 Functional Use: Cystine is a crystalline, sulfur-containing amino acid, formed from two molecules of the amino acid cysteine. It can be converted to cysteine by reduction and was discovered in 1810 but was not recognized as a component of proteins until 1899, when it was isolated from animal horn – it is particularly abundant in skeletal and connective tissues, hair and digestive enzymes. L- Cystine helps strengthen the immune system, reduce damage from free-radicals, repair RNA-DNA in the cells and assimilation of vitamin B6. L-Cystine is closely related to the amino acid, L-Cysteine. L-Cystine aids in preventing the side effects of chemotherapy and radiation. It increases L-Glutathione levels in the lungs, liver, kidney and bone marrow. L-Cystine also has an anti-aging effect on the body which can reduce the accumulation of age spots. 5. product name:DL-Alanine Synonyms:DL-2-aminopropionic acid Molecular Structure: Molecular Formula:C3H7NO2 Molecular Weight:89.09 CAS Registry Number:302-72-7 EINECS:206-126-4 Melting point:272-275 ºC Water solubility:156 g/L (20 ºC) Functions: Alanine is a nonessential amino acid, meaning it can be manufactured by the human body, and does not need to be obtained directly through the diet. Alanine is found in a wide variety of foods, but is particularly concentrated in meats. Good sources of alanine include Animal sources: meat, seafood, caseinate, dairy products, eggs, fish, gelatin, lactalbumin Vegetarian sources: beans, nuts, seeds, soy, whey, brewer's yeast, brown rice, bran, corn, legumes, whole grains. |
