Specs:LFR-8005 LFR-8005 Efficient phosphorus and nitrogen compounded halogen-free flame retardant specialized for polyester and PA6 1. Introduction: LFR-8005 is one P&N synergistic flame retardant. It is white powder with low dust, high temperature resistance and non-migration. It is mainly applied to engineering plastics such as polyester (PBT, PET) and nylon 6 (glass fiber reinforced and unreinforced) series and TPE (TPEE, TPU and PEBA). 2. Specification: Item Unit Target value P content %(w/w) 15-17% Density g/cm3 1.25 Bulk density g/cm3 0.30-0.40 Moisture %(w/w) <0.2 Initial decomposition temperature ℃ >330 Average particle size(D50) μm 30-40 3. Application: a. 8005 is especially suitable for halogen-free flame retardancy of glass fiber reinforced nature white polyester (PBT, PET) and nylon series (PA6 etc). b. 8005 has wide processing window, and its flame retardant performance is high efficient and very stable. c. The FR performance could reach V-0/1.6mm by adding 14-18% of LFR-8005. d. 8005 can also be compounded with other halogen-free flame retardants (synergist) to further improve the comprehensive mechanical and electric properties, which help to satisfy the increasingly stringent demands of terminal application of plastic modification industry. e. The PTI of LFR-8005 can reach up to 600V, and its density is lower. With far less additive amount than other flame retardants except red phosphorus, the flame retardant performance of the mixed material can reach UL94-V0 rating and GWIT 960℃. Therefore, the mechanical properties is almost unaffected. f. 8005 can also be applied to unsaturated polyester and epoxy compound gel coating. 4. Packaging & Storage: 20KG in one paper-plastic composite bag, which is lined with plastic bag. Sealed storage in dry, dust-proof and cool place. |
