Trade Names: Equi, Equiplex, Equipoise Chemical Names: Boldenone Undecylenate Routes: Intramuscular Injection Half-life: 14 days Equipoise is an anabolic steroid developed for veterinary used mainly for the treatment of horses to promote lean bodyweight. Bodybuilders have found favor with this compound due to its strong anabolic effects; this compound has the same anabolic ratio as testosterone, it also acts as a mild androgenic steroid around half that of testosterone. Equipoise has a very profound effect on nitrogen retention which maximizes anabolic effects. Balancing nitrogen retention is a very important part of bodybuilding as intense training and heavy exercises your body goes into a catabolic state of “negative nitrogen balance” and muscle loss will occur. Now because Equipoise promotes a positive nitrogen balance you create a needed anabolic/anti-catabolic environment for building muscle. Equipoise can act as a bulking agent or be used part of a cutting stack. To give you an example, you can stack Equipoise with Testosterone to be used as a bulking agent and benefit from its ability to increase ones appetite. On the other side of the coin you can stack this drug with Anavar or Winstrol which can then be used as a cutting agent. Boldenone has a great effect on lean muscle mass and ability to add extreme vascularity if used alone or alongside oxandrolone. Many sites state a generally weekly dose of 200 to 600mg; however I would not recommend anything under 400mg at minimum. I find a comfortable dose between 600 to 700mg a week but start to develop anxiety if pushed past the 800mg mark. That being said I didn’t find greater affects be-yond the 700mg per week mark. For women I would not recommend anything over 150mg a week but to play it safe rather look at a dose between 50/100mg per week. I am glad times have changed as this drug used to come in 25 and 50mg per ml versions not so long ago. Luckily for us PGW (Precision Gear Works) boast a 350mg/ml which comes in 10ml ampoules with pinning being smooth and pain free; and this can even be used to help prevent injection pain from other steroids. Injection protocol should be at least once a week to maintain the blood vessels in an intact and stable manner. Because Equipoise has a long acting ester with an active life of 14 to 16 days one needs to cycle this steroid for at least 12 weeks. A preferred cycle length would be in the region of 14 to 16 weeks to achieve maximizing benefits of this steroid. I find this drug really starts to kick in at around the 6 week mark; however reports of increased appetite anywhere as early as week 2. Seeing that Equipoise is a mild androgenic steroid, people who are very sensitive toGynecomastia find they can comfortable tolerate a dose of around 400mg a week and not experience any early signs such as itchy/sensitive and/or puffy nipples. I would still advise to keep LP Anastrozole on hand or even run a low maintenance dose of 0.2mg EOD (Every other day) and increase this if need be. If you are concerned about drug testing then this is not a drug for you as reports have said Boldenone is detectible anywhere as long as 5+ months due to production of metabolite in the urine. Another positive effect from this drug would be a very low or if any increase in blood pressure, however because this drug increases RBC (Red blood cells) you may find that this could change very quickly later into the cycle so I would keep an eye on your readings throughout. |
