Solubility: It is easily soluble in water (10% in warm water), but almost insoluble in ethanol. Character: High bioavailability, good solubility, slight iron smell and no astringency flavor. Application: As iron nutrition enhancer, it is widely used in cereal products, dairy products, infant food, beverage, health food, etc. It also could be as coloring agent.
