The furan resin for casting produced by our factory has a complete
category,which has acid hardening self-hardening sand adhesive under normal
temperature and thermal setting adhesive.This product is charactenzed bv low
free fo rmalde—hyde content,small odor,high adhesive strength,good
collapsibility,accurate sand mold(core)size and highly polishedcasting
surface,etc.This product with excellent performance is applicable to various
casting steel,casting iron and nonferrous metal coring and molding of muIling
sand production lines for casting and manual mulling sand process.
1.Instruction The added amount of resin is generally 0.9%-1.5%of the sand
weight depending on the category of the sand;since the particle shape acid
amount,mud content and water content,etc.of particles of the raw sand act
relatively greater influence to the application effect of the resin,raw sand of
appropriate model shall be adopted. Both natural environment and relative
tempe rature of the atmosphere will give a certain influence to the use of the
resin,therefore,the amount of the curing agent shall be adopted approp riately
according to the environment and the temperature of the sand. The relative
strength of the resin call be effectively improved by the silane coupling agent
which is generally applied to the resin by the using unit prior to use The
adding amount accounts for 0.2%-0.3%of the resin weight in general,and the
service life in optimum shall be around one week.
2.Apphcatian Method of
Thermo Set Resin (1)Temperature 210oC±5oC (2)Sand
shooting pressure:0.5-0.7MPa (3)Proportion:Sand:resin:curing
agent=100:2.5:0.5 (4)Curing agent:a ammonium chloride:carbamide:water=1:3:3
b、urotropine 50%water solvent (5)Sand Mixing Method:adding curing agent and
mixing with sand for 1 min,then adding resin and mixing for
2min.
3.Furfuryl Alcohol Resin This resin is a kind of perfect
adhesive which has high adhesive strength and good thermal resistance,can resist
corrosion from all organic solvents and can resist acid and alkali.It is widely
used to cast stone anti-corrosion and wood binding,etc.
4.Storage and
Transportation The resin shall be kept in a coll and dry place:it shall be
protected against insolation for a long time or getting close to thermal
source:also pay attention to prevent acid substances getting into the product so
as to avoid invalidation.Never directly mix the product with acid
substances,othe rwise acute exothermic reaction will occur and accidents be
caused.
