In early treatment, mainly promote endogenous insulin secretion and latter mainly used to improve the surrounding tissue sensitivity to insulin. The hypoglycemic effect is stronger than D860 and less than glibenclamide. But the postprandial blood glucose control is better than glibenclamide. This product is the only drug that will not affected by renal function in this class of antidiabetic drugs. So it can be used in diabetic patients with impaired renal function, especially for elderly diabetes patients for the mild action and low hypoglycemia reaction. |
