High chlorinated polyethylene (HCPE) is a type of chlorinated polymer which contains chlorine at 65~68%. As it has superior film forming performance, good chemical resistance and high adhesive force with steel and cement surface, it is widely used as heavy-duty anticorrosive coatings and adhesives. Particularly, due to its high corrosive resistance to Cl-, it is especially suitable for being used on vessels, docks, containers coating and various types of adhesives.
SUNCOAT TM HCPE is widely accepted by customers due to its good performances in terms of quick solution, solid paint film and good light stability. SUNDOW successfully developed SUNCOAT TM HCPE LV (low viscosity) series by using hydrochloric acid phase technology. SUNCOAT TM LV-05, LV-10, LV-20 have similar performance as Bayer Pergut S05, S10, S20 respectively. |
