Specs:LFR-8003 LFR-8003 Halogen-free efficient flame retardant specialized for glass fiber reinforced polyester and PA 1. Introduction: LFR-8003 is an organic aluminum salt flame retardant containing phosphorus. It is white powder with high bulk density, low dust, high hydrophobicity, high temperature resistance and non-migration. It is mainly applied to engineering plastics such as polyester (PET, PBT) and PA (glass fiber reinforced and unreinforced). It has excellent flame retardant efficiency with nitrogenous flame retardants. 2. Specification: Item Unit Target value P content %(w/w) 23.3-24% Density g/cm3 1.35 Bulk density g/cm3 0.50 Moisture %(w/w) <0.2 Initial decomposition temperature ℃ >350 Average particle size(D50) μm 30-40 3. Application: a. 8003 is especially applied to polyester (PBT and PET), PA (including PA6 and PA66). It is suitable for glass fiber reinforced and non-reinforced polyester & PA. With the addition of LFR-8003, polyester and PA exhibit excellent FR performance, together with good physical and electrical properties. b. In glass fiber reinforced polyester, the additive amount of LFR-8003 is 13-16 wt%. With the cooperative effect of nitrogenous flame retardant, the material can achieve UL94 V-0 (at 1.6mm thickness). Subject to the polymer grade, processing condition and glass fiber reinforcement, the additive amount of the flame retardant may vary. 4. Packaging & Storage: 20KG in one paper-plastic composite bag, which is lined with plastic bag; Sealed storage in dry, dust-proof and cool place. |
