Specs:Iron : 7.5~8.5 % , OH index : 0.32 meq/g Product Description Polycene is burning rate catalyst which leads to a higher burning rate(20 > mm/s, at 7 Mp) with low pressure exponent (n < 0.5) withoutmigration during missile manufacturing and aging. (a liquid resin based on HTPB and grafted with a ferrocene derivative in the chain; a binder in high burning rate ammonium perchlorate based composite propellants.) Because most of other ferrocenium perchlorates are highly sensitive to shock/friction/static and have susceptibility to oxidation, these products have potential risk of the dangers . However, the chemical structure of Polycene has a vast improvement to prevents migration of the catalyst, and still allows it to be fully miscible with standard HTPB (Hydroxy Terminated Polybutadiene).
