StarSoft C-1017 Hydrophilic Textile Softener delivers a soft, silky and full hand feel with a hydrophilic property to cotton or cotton blends fabrics at lower use levels than other products. StarSoft C-1017 Hydrophilic Textile Softener can be applied to a variety of fabrics at finishing stage to deliver outstanding softness with very little yellowing compared to conventional amino silicones. StarSoft C-1017 can be applied in pretreatment process to prevent fabric from creases & texture damage caused by fabric scratching during movement in tank. It is compatible with most scouring agents & hydrogen peroxide. StarSoft C-1017 textile softener can be used effectively on wrinkle-free garments that are treated with DP resin and fluorocarbon soil release finishes. StarSoft C-1017 textile softener is normally applied as a water dilution, blended into the treatment bath formulation. The water dilutions of StarSoft C-1017 textile softener have excellent shear stability at high alkaline and temperature. Therefore, it can be used for applications in which normal emulsified softeners do not show adequate shear stability. StarSoft C-1017 textile softener and its dilutions are very stable over a wide pH environment (3-14 pH). Products that require standard emulsifications may not tolerate these same pH extremes. It is different from conversional textile softeners, StarSoft C-1017 can be applied in pretreatment process to prevent fabric from creases & texture damage caused by fabric scratching during fabric fast movement in tank.
