Karanja oil is used as fertilizer and pesticide. It is extracted from the seeds of pongam tree. With similar therapeutic benefits as neem, this type of oil has its wide usage in agricultural fields. The byproducts left from the extraction of oil act as excellent organic manure for crops with insect controlling properties. Beneficial for crops for providing essential nutrients, this agricultural oil is also helpful in reducing the soil insects.
