Hygieia Lipoic acid
Hygieia , also known as α-lipoic acid and alpha lipoic acid (ALA) and thioctic acid , It is an organosulfur compound derived from octanoic acid. ALA is essential for aerobic metabolism. It is widely uased as a dietary supplements. Lipoic acid essentially belongs to vitamins B and is a coenzyme that exists in mitochondria and has a powerful function of scavenging free radicals. Lipoic acid has both fat solubility and water solubility, and is easy to be reduced to dihydrolipoic acid after entering human body.
