MALEIC ANHYDRIDE (MA):
DESCRIPTION: Maleic Anhydride is a white needle-like, briquette or flaky crystalline with irritant odour and sour, inflammable and sublimating. It can be freely dissolved in water to form maleic acid. It has a specific density of 1.480, the melting point of 52.85ºC,and a boiling point of 202 ºC. Chemical Name: Maleic Anhydride Molecular Formula: C 4 H 2 O 3 Molecular Weight:: 98.02 Usage: Mainly used in production of unsaturated polyester resins. It also is used in coating, pharmacenties, agricultural insecticide, additives of oil products and plastics, surfactant, etc. It is used production of 1.4 butanediol, etc. Packing: In plastics woven bags (PE inside), Net weight 25Kg . Caution: To avoid expose to wet, Do not touch skin, eyes, because of MA is corrosive. |
