The Latin: Silybum marianum Herb Source: From the fruit of the Silybum marianum. Active ingredients: Silybin,Silydianin,Silychristin and so on. Purity: Silymarin 20%-80% UV/HPLC Silybin 80%-99% HPLC Main ingredients: Name: Silybin CAS No: 22888-70-6 Molecular Formula: C25H22O10 Molecular Weight: 482.43 Melting Point: One hydrate is 180,the anhydrous is 158. Brief: Yellow or light yellow powder. Solubility: Soluble in actone,ethyl acetate,methanal,ethanol,insoluble in water. Pharmacology: Firstly, it`s cholagogue, benifitial to the liver.The material can inhibit the hepatic lipid peroxidation activity improving,can protect the hepatic enzyme metabolizing activity; protect the myocardium, lower the blood pressure, expand the blood vessel, lower the lipid, also have protecting effect on the brain ischemia.
